It was on my To Do list for too long and it feels good to have it done. Always enjoyed music and started playing drums because I could afford drum sticks and a practice pad in about the 5th or 6th grade. The teachers were not fond of me bringing it to class. We lived in Spain at the time (Air Force Brat) and our school bus was a nice luxury outfit with a Spanish driver who played mostly The Beatles music over the sound system. We would sing along to the tunes and I would mimic Ringo’s drum licks on the back of the seat in front of me.

I switched over to guitar in High School and played a few gigs with cover songs. Later was in a few bands still doing cover songs except for the group Calico Dog that featured mostly original music.

Got married to my lovely wife Sandi and started a family so I got more serious about providing than playing although I kept the music close. Then after several years I just had this urge to write music which led to the album Next Step. Usually I write a piece of music and then try to find some lyrics that fit. I wonder if most people write the lyrics first? Anyway.. After several years my album Heartland has been recorded and unleashed on an unsuspecting world.

Sandi got me a nice camera for Christmas a few years back and I loaded up a few of my favorite photographs on the Gallery page. There are also some older photo’s of previous bands and other interesting stuff.
